How It Works

Richmond E-Z Box Storage provides two sizes to meet all your storage needs:

– 8 X 8 X 8 - Fits 1 to 2 rooms
– 8 X 8 X 16 - Fits 3 to 4 rooms

The amount of space needed can vary based on the amount and size of the items and furnishings in your home. Remember, you can stack your goods inside your container if items are strapped down and secure once your unit is being transported.

Both unit types are insulated to help protect against cold and heat and have a pitched roof to allow water to run off the top. Additional E-Z Box features are listed below:

– Insulation for added protection
– Interior light for visibility at night, improves safety and security
– Electrical outlet to assist you when working outside
– Three-inch door dust-brush to help keep dust and bugs out
– Large roll-up door for ease of loading larger items
– Ground-level loading and unloading - no ramps to go up and down

One of the benefits of using portable storage is the convenience of packing, loading, and unloading at your leisure. We offer renters a variety of moving supplies for purchase or rent, such as blankets and handcarts.

Once you have packed your belongings in your storage unit, you may wish to use the added protection of a band to secure your possessions into place. If you need straps to secure items in place during transport, just ask us and we will lend you some!

Locks should be used to secure your belongings. Cylinder locks are available for purchase for $10.00 + tax. Richmond E-Z Box Storage does not have access to storage units and locks that are being used.
